Jenessa's first dance recital

This was Jenessa's first dance recital and were we ever excited that Aunt Karen was here to help teach me how to do Jenessa's hair. Jenessa was a beautiful dancer.

I think Nessa's eyes are so beautiful in this picture. These are the three friends that she takes dance with from our ward. My O' My she is short!!
Here is Nessa in three of her "poses" from her dance. She was so cute! Mom was so proud of her little dancer in her first recital. Mom got a little teary!!

Vist with Santa

Through out the holiday season we were able to go to zoo lights and Temple square, several parties, and our annual visit to Santa in the park.

As you can see from this picture Josh was having the time of his life!!

Much happier kiddos in these bottom three pictures. I love how intently Nathan is listening and talking with Santa.

I'm loving being with my Best Friend!

Okay...So, this may not be the greatest picture of Jennifer but
this is one of Nathan's very best friends and a great friend of the
family. He appears to be loving life having been able to spend
time with her. She was our neighbor in Arizona. Nathan and her
really bonded. He would go over to her house and they would talk
for hours as they worked on her yard. I would find him several
times just "hangin' out" at her house, or checking out and not being
very fond of the person she was dating at the time. They were
great memories, and we all love our Jennifer!!

We can't have too many to choose from, Can we?!?

I think these top three pictures were our favorites. We had our dear friend Jennifer with us. We thought this was the perfect time for someone to take our picture for our Christmas card. Well, little did I remember or know that Jen is camera happy. I think we came away with well over 100 pix to choose from. Some of the pictures were taken before church and some were taken after church. Our kids were troopers and Thanks Jen for doing such a great job, we love you. I think you need to come and visit every time and be our photographer. Of course, I added one of the crazy ones. I had to let the kids have several of those so they would make it through all the serious ones.

Thanksgiving 2008

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for having Thanksgiving at your house. We had such a great time and the food and company was awesome. We missed Bryan not being there with us because he was Hospitalist. I sometimes think he got the better end of the deal, having a house quiet and to himself for 5 days :-)

We decided to make some "tutu's" for the girls, well, I thought we were making them for the girls... I think these pix show who enjoyed them the most. We love you Melissa and Kelly

Our Princess!!

Our Princess' hair before we decided to get her first REAL haircut

Jenessa did such a great job with Nacole cutting her hair. She sat real still and did a perfect job!

Jenessa is such a beautiful girl! We love you to death Nessa. We loved your longer hair but we absolutely LOVE your new haircut. You are adorable.

Just look at Nessa's Face and nothing more needs to be said!

All of Jenessa's buddies

So...Who knew that the balloons that the kids are holding would provide so much entertainment. We would blow them up and the kids would chase after them, we tied some up and they used them to get each other in a game of chase. They were great and I will remember these for the next party! They even came with the hand held pumper that blows them up!!

I can't give Karen and NATE enough thanks for helping with the Birthday cakes. The Barbie one is the one that Jenessa had for her party and the Castle is the one she had with the family.
